What is Pilates?
Pilates is a form of exercise, developed by Joseph Pilates, which emphasizes the balanced development of the body through core strength, flexibility and awareness in order to support efficient, graceful movement.

From athletes to dancers, from seniors to women recovering from pregnancy, everyone seems to be doing Pilates! One of the things that makes Pilates so popular is its wide range of adaptability. No matter what your state of fitness a Pilates routine can be customized for you.

Pilates students and practitioners most often remark about the gains they have made that enabled them to be leaner, longer and stronger. They also note that everyday tasks become easier to perform and are done with much more grace. 

And the famous flat abdomen of Pilates enthusiasts is highly desirable and immediately recognizable.

What Should I Wear?

Comfortable, loose or stretchy clothes that will not inhibit movement will be of benefit to your performance. And don't forget socks are a "must" for all classes.



Studio Guidelines
  • Please bring water bottles.
  • We encourage you to bring your own Pilates mat. However, some studio mats are available for your use and we also have mats available for purchase.
  • A 12 hour cancellation is required for all Private and Semi-Private Equipment classes. If you cancel less than 12 hours in advance, or are a "no-call, no-show" there will be a full session charge.
  • If you are pregnant you will need to present a doctor's release.
  • Class and Session fees are non-refundable. Class times, instructors, schedules and prices are subject to change.
